PHC Tech is responsible for safe delivery and application of PHC services.
PHC Tech performs fertilization and integrated pest management on tree and shrubs and lawns using spray and injection tools.
Duties:
Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Learns, understands, and adheres to all safety rules and company safety policies Understands and demonstrates proficiency with products and techniques used to maintain plant health Clean motor vehicle record Understands and adheres to label directives on each product use Ensures that all company policies regarding the storage and handling of pesticide products are adhered to Select, mix and apply fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides and fungicides as directed by your Supervisor Understands and follows directives on all pesticide and fertilizer work orders Load/fill spray tanks, gas cans, tools and any necessary equipment Understands and practices the appropriate plant health diagnostic skills, including:
Abiotic injury, Construction injury, insect and other animal Pests and Diseases Demonstrates the proper pesticide application skills Ability to apply soil, foliar and trunk infused products Demonstrates correct pesticide container disposal techniques Follows directions from the crew leader or designated supervisor, arborist representative, or local manager Homer Tree Care, Inc.
