Permanent/ Hourly Purpose The purpose of a Maintenance Planner is to develop and implement maintenance plans that ensure the efficient running and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and related services.
They are responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
This includes creating and managing schedules for PM's, tracking, and reporting on work orders and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all maintenance needs are met.
The Maintenance Planner will also develop and implement our current CMMS system to generate PM schedules and work orders.
About the Role The Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining effective maintenance plans to ensure efficient and safe running of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
This role involves scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, liaising with suppliers, and managing the parts inventory.
The Maintenance Planner must have excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail and be able to work independently and collaboratively.
Summary The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing maintenance plans and programs that ensure all equipment and machinery within the company is running safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry standards.
They will monitor equipment performance and provide guidance and support to maintenance teams to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time and in a cost-effective manner.
The Maintenance Planner will also develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and keep accurate records of all maintenance activities.
