Maintenance Technician 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift

Major
Responsibilities:
o Under general supervision, performs mostly routine and some non-routine maintenance and repair work according to established procedures.
o Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
o Participates in plant-wide safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement processes (Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
).
o Ensures reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
o Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Sound electrical background preferred.
o Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
o Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
o Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; welding, machining and fabrication experience is a plus.
o Contributes to team effort by achieving performance metrics.
o Comply with all OSHA safety and health regulations.
Shift Differential pay:
2nd shift $1.
50 and 3rd shift $2.

o Must have at least 4 years' experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing environment.
Will train on 1st shift 2-3 months Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent and Technical training; Degree or certificate in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics Job Types:
