1 volunteer day 50% remote, hybrid role Tuition assistance to attend college or obtain an advanced degree Growth & development opportunities for promotion and stretch assignments Paid weekly What We Are Looking For The Compliance Engineer works with design groups to obtain agency compliance for new products, maintain all agency compliance for existing products, participate in agency committees and working groups.
This includes activities such as:
performing engineering analysis (e.
g.
competitive, failure modes and effects, cost, manufacturing technology, etc.
), component design, specification verification testing, manufacturing implementation, and occasionally, field support.
This role may also manage small projects from start to finish and assist in proposing innovative product features.
The Compliance Engineer applies technical expertise within a single discipline (e.
g.
mechanical, electronics, software/firmware, materials science, optics, etc.
).
What You Will Do Perform a variety of routine and non-routine engineering tasks/projects by following defined processes, procedures, and instructions Create and analyze technical documentation including engineering plans/sketches/drawings, test plans/records, instructions, manuals, reports, etc.
Track and document efforts according to defined corporate policies Collaborate with engineers and staff Prepare reports, graphs, and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results Help with developing proposals for technical projects Collaborate with Underwriters Laboratory and Canadian Standards Association to ensure projects will obtain approvals What You Will Bring Required Degree:
Bachelor's degree within an Engineering discipline Required Years of
Experience:
1.
5 years of relevant experience; internships/co-op will be considered as relevant experience MS Office experience Ability to travel up to 15% Preferred
Experience:
Familiar with the process to obtain compliance approval from UL, (Underwriters Laboratory) CSA (Canadian Standards Association), and others including opening a project with UL and following up through completion Familiar with UL standards for electrical products 3-5 years minimum experience Excellent organizational skills to meet schedule requirements for new product development and also for tracking approval expiration and triggering renewal activity We thank all those interested in joining the Panduit team; however only those that complete the online application and meet the minimum job qualifications will be considered for this role.
