Sales Representative Trainee

Our Client, who specialized in full-service metal fabrication, has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Representative Trainee at their Corporate Office located in Lockport, IL, 60441.?

Sales Representative Trainee Responsibilities:?

The Sales Representative Trainee will begin his/her career from the bottom up. The first phase of training may take 6 months where he or she will acquire a working knowledge of the business, which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • estimating

  • detailing

  • customer service

  • logistics

  • plant operations??

Subsequently, the second phase of training may take 3 months where the AE will commence learning and understanding of the sales cycle, which includes:

  • identifying prospects in existing and new markets

  • working with a Senior Account Representative?s support staff

  • setting up appointments with clients

  • making sales calls with Senior Account Representatives??

Upon completion of training, the Sales Representative Trainee will receive a book of business with the expectation of growing the existing book and adding new clients.

Sales Representative Trainee Requirements:?

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Self-motivated; assertive

  • Willingness to learn industry and specifically steel fabrication business?

  • Bachelor?s degree with emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration, etc. highly preferred?

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)

Sales Representative Trainee Compensation:

$55K to $65K + bonus?

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
